SightCare launches ‘Business Owners Support Groups’ for all members

When you chose to become a business owner you knew that a lot of hard work would be needed moving forward. But what you possibly didn’t foresee was the loneliness of not being able to discuss your plans, headaches, and successes with others in a similar situation.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know if those daily struggles were an everyone problem or a you problem? What if you could run that new idea by someone in the industry to get an educated opinion? Better still, what if someone had already executed the same idea and could tell you what the outcome would likely be?

If these are questions you often ask yourself then our SightCare online Business Owners Support Groups are for you.

Our Business Owners Support Groups are included within your membership and are made up of small, confidential groups of non-competing SightCare Members. They are designed to offer you a space to discuss all business-related issues with trusted peers (and a professional Business Coach), with a focus on helping one another tackle the challenges that arise within the day-to-day running of an independent optical practice.

Here at SightCare we’re in a unique position to be able to put together groups of business owners from within the same industry to help and support one another. We are lucky enough to have a wide variety of members; from new faces opening their first practice with a fresh perspective, to those who have made a steady and comfortable income for many years, to those who have multiple sites and won’t stop until they’re the primary eye-care provider in a whole county… and everyone in between.

By mixing such an array of business types, you’re guaranteed to leave each Business Owners Support Group with new ideas and a motivation boost! Sharing issues, mistakes, best practices and so on is a wonderful way to ensure the independent optical sector remains strong, supported and most importantly, alive.

We currently have six established online Business Owners Support Groups all running at different times on different days of the week. As part of a Business Owners Support Group, you will meet online 6 times per year, with fellow owners and a SightCare coach, to share ideas, discuss challenges and sense check your business decisions.
