SightCare appoints Sohail Khan and Chris Roche as Non-Executive Directors

The SightCare Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Sohail Khan and Chris Roche as Non-Executive Directors. Their appointments were ratified at SightCare’s AGM on 26 January 2025 and both new Directors have attended the first quarterly board meeting of 2025, held today, Tuesday 11 March. 

Sohail, founder of Abra & Co, has built a thriving group of five independent practices rooted in personalised service, professional excellence and a deep sense of responsibility to both patients and the wider community. His commitment to elevating independent optometry aligns perfectly with SightCare’s mission to support and strengthen the sector.  

Chris is a passionate advocate for conscientious innovation, with a track record of helping entrepreneurs, non-profits and SMEs turn ideas into impactful, sustainable businesses. He focuses on mentoring and supporting organisations in areas such as business transformation, fundraising and strategic growth and his hands-on style aligns well with SightCare’s commitment to empowering independent opticians with the tools and strategies they need to thrive in an evolving marketplace. 

Sohail and Chris’ combined expertise makes them a powerful addition to the SightCare Board, bringing both practical business acumen and strategic vison to support independent opticians.
