Woodys joins the metaverse with its new neon-g collection

Woodys Eyewear is the first eyewear brand to launch a frame created for the metaverse. NEON-GENESIS is the name of the limited-edition virtual collection comprising three unique models.

In so doing, the company has created its first wearables for the metaverse and has also published three NFT artworks on the OpenSea platform, one of the world’s leading marketplaces for non-fungible tokens. A new step taken by Woodys to position itself as a revolutionary and innovative brand.

This frame was one of the nominees for the SILMO D’OR awards — the prestigious optical and eyewear sector awards that honor the most cutting-edge, creative and outstanding brands on an international level.

A campaign that combines anime and 3D with a futuristic retro-inspired look — the collection features three different worlds with a single protagonist.

Fashion and the metaverse 
The potential of the metaverse to contribute to the fashion and design industry is already a reality. For this reason, brands such as Nike, the Inditex group, Adidas, Gucci and Hermès have created capsule collections for the platform.

Whatever the case, it is clear that the growth of the fashion industry is increasingly driven by metaverse technology.
